OMG project mr2 update !!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh it feels good to be back with a real update!!! so if you haven't made it to the channel for the build progress there is finally something tangible. cant wait for parts to keep coming in. here is the latest video !!!!!!!!!!

wild idea

i have been thinking alot about parts for my mr2 and i honestly i have been looking inot swapping the 2gr toyota v6 in as it is a little more modern and parts readily available again just a thought but tying to come up with a solution to my lack of power problems

the project update

        so this being the official update blog on the mr2 i feel it has lacked . i feel like an episode of roadkill with David frieburger saying that they wont be able to run the stock car because of the lawyers. the parts list is growing and i cant wait to start on it when the project starts. I need to start a build thread to keep things motivated and i have motivation and am excited to drive this car one day.
               One of the specific reasons  have not started it is the reasoning behind me wanting to document it. as a you-tuber you know i make videos and ive been working on the specific video "scripts" and how to keep it relevant to what i do as a profession and teaching in my videos as well. long story short im saving up b roll footage and other things that i need to use to make a quality video that the viewers would enjoy and novice people would learn from and or entertainment for the masses
               The build is a basic but will eventually will be a great full restore of the once great car it was. So i hope to make a great collection of videos and updates on the mr2 as well as you will see updates of the vehicle on the main channel pretty much starting with a lot of basics on the car brake inspecting and such so i hope once it warms up from this crazy cold weather the flow of videos comes out

for the longest time

This blog has been getting out of hand. For what i can remember it is always me stretching myself thin with others projects. Its hard to find time with my own.
         I am blessed with the skills to do my own work on cars and i try to teach that to others. As well as in my process of doing that i always have others at my door asking for help with their broken down cars. which is beneficial to me in getting more repair videos for the channel and in turn more teachings for my followers. The downside is that i never have time for my projects i have so many ideas and ambition for it just cant find the time but this blog is my encouragement for it.
          So with out further ado i am happy to say that my YouTube career is making its way back to the Mr2 and i couldn't be happier just need to find a spot for it before the snow flys , just cant wait i am really excited and hope you are to .

first new part arrived

so the excitment is growing as i plan the project. in the orders i have made the first has arrived, and although small its just igniting my passion for my aw11. ive been thinking of many things to make for videos on the subject and ive turned back to looking for the mr2oc website for questions that people have been asking and i will turn much of my attention to those.
 Reading this is not the same as living it so i cant wait for the vids to role out to make things great. Its going to be delayed til a little more shipments come in but in about 2 months or so it will be camera rolling time. and editing. i get a lot of questions on "why no videos" for every hour of video it takes some post production time i spend some time letting the videos process in the editor. so for an hour of video again thats like 45 minutes to an hour and a half of processing. Now you put in the time that i have to edit out things , get rid of periods of silence then then to edit out the non stop turning of bolts and clips that dont need a full demonstration to the audience. This is usually a few days in post production when i finally am ready to publish the video.
Ending in this post is the part that finally came today was the clutch slave cyinder . the boot and seals rotted away on my current one so i will finally have a clutch again. let alone the bleeding process.
well of to work i go to get more done.

Parts ordered now planning

every car guy or gal has a project car. it may be in thier head but they know what they want and how to do it per say. Everything comes down to a budget but now its getting to the point where i am serious about this build , every two weeks is a design or part being intergrated or purchased for the car. i have a few things that i have been doing . Vids up soon and its gonna be great hope you follow the build and the struggle haha have a good one readers

well files corruption is a dirty thing to happen but ive lost  lot of footage.  but i will be posting a lot of things related to mr2 as well so working on a schedule on how to post and you will see more soon.

Work begins on the mr2

Again the work has begun and its not going to stop so i will keep the updates Rollin here is the new video below. This car is one of my pride and joy and will live again and its going to be a labor of love and i cant ak for anything better. lots of peopl can tell you that your project is a lost cause and sometimes you need to know when yours is but a little more money isnt always the answer work is. when i work on this thing i dont see work i see fun so enjoy your projects everyone

alright so its been a little while and right now im editing a video its just a little teaser to what is going on with my mr2. so more videos are to come but work is in progress and that engine is coming out soon!!!!!! but for now the video is being edited and will be up sunday around mid day and up on this blog as well

Curb appeal

So as with a few Mr2s out there the front valance or lower bumper facia is a corroded beyond what I'd consider visual appealing so for the blog I really want to repair this using fiberglass and body filler for the most part to remake and define the front piece again to its normal glory a little body work for the car and see how it turns out.... so that will be this weekends project and I'll make a video along with this as well 

Alright its on hold

the snow has melted and its almost warm enough to start the work. just a little bit more on time and i will start the work. I cant wait to get started on the work and get this beauty back on the road videos will be on the channel and i will be posting some stuff on my primary channel

some parts are ordered for the mr2 and i cant wait for the work to begin the build is going to start as soon as the snow melts.

so i was out with the go pro today and i shot a little update on the mr2 so far its been hard as you know winter has come and it really has slowed down the progress

Hi gals and gals more updates on the way, i will be purchasing a wheel bearing in the next week to get that out of the way and follow that with both a repair video and video for the blog, its still under wraps for now with the cold rolling in and i hope it gets much more

so the mr2 is under wraps , il post more pics and things as i change and do , im trying ladies and gents just its getting cold and its always hard to find time for your projects but im working just check out the main channel for more updates.
   but its gettin cold here in minnesota. means i have some 4age parts to source from ebay.
